Vasilias beach

Vasilias is a sandy bay among pine-clad hills at bus stop 8, about five minutes' walk off the main road. It looks out to the islets and across to Skopelos. The water is shallow and gently shelving, and the south coast stays calm in the meltemi. There is a water taxi into Skiathos Town, and two tavernas.
