Koukounaries beach

Koukounaries is the island's flagship beach: a long sweep of very fine golden sand, backed by the Strofilia pine forest and a protected lagoon. It shelves gently. Bus stop 26 is the terminus, so you always get a seat heading west. Seatrac ramp, watersports, thirteen places to eat. The most-searched beach on Skiathos.
