Maratha beach

Maratha is a narrow pine-shaded strip of sand at bus stop 22, about 500 metres before Koukounaries. The sand shelves quickly into deeper water. South-facing, so it stays calm when the meltemi blows. There are sunbeds and umbrellas, and one beach bar, run by the hotel above and open roughly mid-May to late September.
