Elevate Bar in full
Elevate is Elivi's main bar, sited left of the lobby in the resort's original Xenia building — the historic state-built hotel that gave Koukounaries its first serious accommodation in the 1960s, and which the resort has deliberately styled the bar to evoke.
It is run by a mixologist and flanked by two long glass-partitioned terraces looking straight down over Koukounaries beach. It is described as the best drinks proposition in the resort.
The building's history is genuinely interesting and almost entirely undocumented online outside the hotel's own pages — another example of the island's better stories sitting behind group-owned domains.
