Vromolimnos is one of the most popular beaches on Skiathos β golden soft sand, calm clear water, fully equipped with loungers and umbrellas β and the beach operation includes a snack area, a beach bar with music aimed at a younger crowd, and a white-tablecloth restaurant section.
When it works, it works: the grilled salmon and the salads get specific praise, the beach bar is genuinely chilled, and the facilities are excellent by island standards.
The criticism, though, is pointed and repeated. Longer-standing visitors describe a place that has become over-commercialised β three rows of sunbeds packed tightly together β with a restaurant that has slipped towards mediocre and fast-food-focused and lost its charm.
