Diamanti Beach Bar in full

Diamanti sits at the southern tip of the Kalamaki–Kanapitsa peninsula on Diamandi (Koutsouri) beach, and getting there is part of it: a fifteen to twenty minute walk down from bus stop 13, a car and then a walk, or a boat — there is a water-taxi shuttle from Vromolimnos.

It has been run by Katerina Houma since 2018, and the cooking is dish-of-the-day rather than a fixed menu: lentils, stuffed courgette flowers, fish when the fishermen deliver. Homemade shrimp orzo, fried calamari, garlic mussels, saganaki prawns and fava all get named.

The restaurant runs 13:00 to 18:30 and the bar 11:30 to 19:00, and booking is essential for both tables and sunbeds. It is described as pricey even by Skiathos standards, and as one of the most atmospheric places on the island. Both are probably true.
